There are 23, types of trees in the world. Trees are very diverse and go from towering pines to tropical palm trees to teeny tiny bonsai trees. There's a tree out there for everyone to love.

Redwood trees are among the oldest living organisms in the world. They can live for more than years. Some of these huge trees were alive during the Roman Empire. The global climate is projected to continue to change over this century and beyond. The magnitude of climate change beyond the next few decades depends on the amount of heat trapping gases emitted globally and how sensitive the Earth's climate is to those emissions causing this global warming.
