PC-Restore - Windows Vista. I have a XPS system,with Vista pre-installed, Can anybody please tell me how to restore my system back to its original state as it came from the factory.

The owners manual refers to Windows XP operating systems, and that doesnt work on this system. When I try to use PC restore, it pops up "error" when formatting the hard drive for restore.

I tried pressing F8, didnt work, F11 didnt work either. I would appreciate any information I can get. Also I do not get the dell logo anymore. I get the black post screen detecting ram and blah blah blah but no blue bar. Again let me say I formatted c drive and manually installed vista. I would think the dell logo would still pop up but it does not. Even though I manually installed Vista I would rather go the factory spec route just to be certain to get all the correct drivers.

I installed all the one from the dell site and can't get the wireless to work. I click on that and it brings up the factory retore window but one clicknto the process it stops and claims error has occurred. I think maybe it because it's not meant to be manually started but I can't figure out any other way to trigger it.
