That was the most frustrating part of the entire deal. Otherwise, you get a choice of an upgrade or a new install. Once installed, however, the Vista has loads and loads of upgrades that do take quite a while to download and install.

Make sure you have a good battery in the motherboard before you start this. I didn't check this and everything blew, so I'm waiting on new batteries now and will reinstall the Vista. The system going down was not the fault of the Visa OS, it was my fault for not paying attention and automatically replacing the battery as I usually do.
